Review of Immortal's Spring
Sophie Darrow said yes once to a young man offering a realm
of Greek gods and immortality. Now her home has been shattered, and her friends
and family pulled along with her as they run from an evil cult and take shelter
in the gloomy Underworld. But remembering the life of the original immortals
long ago--Persephone, Hades, Hekate, Hermes, and more--may be their key to victory,
as well as happiness.
In ancient times too, the murderous cult Thanatos attacked
and destroyed nearly all the Greek immortals who sought to bring good to
humankind. But those immortals planted seeds in both their realm and ours to
ensure their season would someday bloom again. And spring is finally coming.

Review of Underworld's Daughter
In preparation for the release of Immortal’s Spring (the
third book in Molly Ringle’s fantastic Chrysomelia series) I read book two in
the series: Underworld’s Daughter. You can read my review of book one here.
New
immortals are being created for the first time in thousands of years thanks to
the tree of immortality discovered by Persephone and Hades. But Sophie Darrow
is not one of them. Nikolaos, the trickster, has given the last ripe
immortality fruit to two others, the reincarnations of the gods Dionysos and
Hekate: Tabitha and Zoe, currently Sophie's and Adrian's best friends.
While the disappointed Sophie struggles to remember Hekate and Dionysos from
ancient Greece, she must still face her daily life as a mortal university
freshman. Tabitha and Zoe have their own struggles as they come to terms with
being newly immortal and their own haunting dreams of past lives and loves. The
evil committed by Thanatos invades all of them in heartbreaking memories, and
worse still, Sophie and her friends know their enemies are determined to kill
again. And even the gods can't save everyone.

Diantha Jones on Greek Mythology, and All Things Writing
Last week I reviewed Prophecy of the Most Beautiful: Oracle of Delphi Book One by Diantha Jones and today I'm sitting down to ask her a few questions about life, writing and being sassy as PART TWO of the OOD Tour. Check it out:
- Greek mythology has become almost a staple in Fantasy. What made you choose it and what makes yours so special?I've always has a love for the Greek myths and there was never a question about what my series would be based around. The hard part was finding a focus. I wanted to find a bit of mythology that hadn't really been dealt with on any grand scale. The Oracle of Delphi has always been a minor character in most Greek myth series, but in my series, she's center stage. The series is about her, in all of her mythical glory. Each book is about a single prophecy that surrounds a greater, darker prophecy. As far as I know, this hasn't really been done before. But I haven't read every book in the world so I may be wrong. Still, this series is special in its own way :)

Blog Tour of Oracle of Delphi by Diantha Jones
Prophecy of the Most Beautiful
Oracle of Delphi #1
By Diantha JonesFollow @DianthaJones
Synopsis: She has a destiny so great that even the gods fear her.
Constant hallucinations and the frequent conversations with the voices in her head, have earned eighteen-year-old Chloe Clever the not-so-coveted title of "Whack Job" in her home town of Adel, Georgia. With the onslaught of prescription medications and therapists threatening to push her over the edge, she wishes for a life far away from the one she has, a life where she is destined to be more than the butt of everyone's jokes and mockery.
Be careful what you wish for has never rung more true.
After living through an attack from her worst nightmare, she awakens to find herself far from home, surrounded by glorious riches and servants…and a few demigods who enjoy killing things. Upon learning that her favorite rockstar is an Olympian god, she is thrust into her new life as the Oracle of Delphi, the prophesier of the future, and the great Pythia that the gods have been anxiously awaiting to arrive for centuries.
Setting out to fulfill the prophecy she has been given and to keep her family safe from a demigod Princess that wants her dead, Chloe learns of how great she is to become, all the while fighting mythical monsters, evading divine assassins and trying to outwit the ever-cunning Greek gods who harbor secrets of their own.
In the hopes of discovering the Most Beautiful and the truth of her destiny, she strives to uncover the mysteries of the demigod Prince who has sworn to protect her with his life…and threatens to win her heart in the process.
